Special video bonus post! Last November, rescuer Sara pulled two Beagle mix siblings from a shelter in Selma, AL. Named “Ray” and “Tay” by the shelter, they were scheduled to be put down before the week was out. After Sara saved them, the dogs shared a cage at the shelter and boarded at the vet together for over a month. They each got adopted the day they came off transport in January. Ray was adopted by a family and returned a few months later and then adopted by an awesome woman who lives a mere 5 blocks from Tay’s family. Now named Pip (Ray) and Chestnut (Tay) they finally had a reunion. It had been close to 10 months since the last time the dogs saw each other.  Pip’s mom is a filmmaker and documented this amazing moment.
